We are very proud to announce that Fire won this year’s “Battle for Blood” competition. The biggest winner was the Community Blood Center and those individuals who reside in our community and are need of blood.
For the past two years the competition has been won by the area Police Departments. This year we reached a monumental achievement by going over 1,00o donations for Fire.
The final totals for the 2010 Battle for Blood Campaign: FIRE: 1,031 and POLICE: 912.
